The Tone:
This is an internship at SharpStakes, a company revolutionizing iGaming with a cutting-edge research tool designed to make sports betting easy, fun, and transparent. The platform empowers users to find insights, discover optimal bets, and make smarter decisions based on data. This role is a full-time opportunity to operate at the intersection of sports, data, and business. You will be instrumental in building SharpStakes’ presence across campuses and local communities nationwide, playing a key part in expanding our reach and user engagement.

• Mission: Drive SharpStakes’ brand awareness and user acquisition by engaging directly with sports fans on campuses and in local communities.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Local Marketing: Promote SharpStakes using social media and in-person strategies at campus hotspots and community events to broaden our user base.
• Event Management: Plan and execute engaging campus events and experiences in collaboration with student organizations, fraternities/sororities, and intramural sports teams.
• Brand Representation: Represent SharpStakes by assisting at company-sponsored tailgates, watch parties, and various other sports gatherings to build community.
• Partnership Development: Identify and establish key partnerships with sports bars, local businesses, and influential figures on campus to extend our reach.
• User Feedback: Collect invaluable feedback from students and local communities, contributing directly to the continuous improvement of the SharpStakes experience.

• Background: An early career professional who is passionate about sports, eager to learn, and seeks hands-on experience in sales and marketing within a startup environment.
• Experience: Proven ability to confidently engage with diverse groups, thrive in social settings, and actively participate in events like games, bars, and student gatherings.
• Skills: Exceptional verbal communication for promoting and influencing, strong social aptitude for meeting new people, and an entrepreneurial mindset for taking initiative and delivering results.
