AI Partnerships & Growth Intern | Inference.ai

The Tone:
This is an unpaid internship with Inference.ai, which operates Inference Academy, an AI learning lab dedicated to empowering students and career-transition talent. Inference Academy focuses on building real-world AI skills through practical workshops, comprehensive educational programs, and portfolio-driven learning experiences, ultimately helping individuals become confident AI builders and operators. In this growth-focused role, you will be crucial in expanding Inference Academy’s reach and impact by driving campus partnerships, organizing engaging events, and converting interest into measurable growth. Your efforts will directly contribute to the company’s mission of making AI education accessible and practical, with a clear pathway to a paid position for strong performers who consistently meet KPI targets.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person
• Mission: This person will own the strategy and execution for increasing awareness and generating top-of-funnel demand for Inference Academy’s offerings by establishing and nurturing campus partnerships and events.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Outreach & Engagement: Initiate targeted outreach to university career centers, diverse student clubs, and various campus communities to establish initial connections and foster relationships.
• Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute practical AI workshops, informative webinars, and engaging student events designed to educate and attract participants.
• Partnership Development: Develop, maintain, and actively manage a robust pipeline of potential and existing partnerships with universities and student organizations, ensuring ongoing collaboration.
• Growth & Conversion: Strategically drive attendance to all organized events, meticulously manage follow-up communications, and ensure effective post-event conversion of interested individuals.
• Company Representation: Serve as an official representative for Inference.ai in all external engagements, including partnership meetings, public events, and on-campus activations.
• Demand Generation: Implement tactical execution strategies to significantly grow brand awareness and generate top-of-funnel demand for Inference Academy’s educational offerings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student
• Experience: Demonstrated track record as a current or former student club leader, which is strongly preferred for this role. Possession of a confident, proactive, and highly execution-focused approach to driving outcomes. Comfort and proficiency with various forms of outreach, including cold outreach, diligent follow-up procedures, and strategic partnership building.
• Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, essential for effective outreach and representation. Proficiency in organizing and coordinating a variety of events, including workshops and webinars, from planning through execution. Strong aptitude for identifying, building, and nurturing productive partnerships with diverse university and student organizations.
