The Tone:
This is an early career position at GreenDrop, located in Johns Creek, Georgia. GreenDrop, a division of Savers | Value Village, is a rapidly expanding organization focused on making clothing and household item donations easy, convenient, and eco-friendly. This role is critical for ensuring exceptional service to donors, directly contributing to the diversion of millions of pounds of items from landfills. By facilitating these donations, this position also helps provide critical funding for nonprofit partners, supporting their missions.

• Mission: Ensure exceptional service for donors while supporting the eco-friendly redirection of goods and funding nonprofit partners.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Donor Engagement: Always greet donors in a friendly manner and engage them in pleasant conversation while in full GreenDrop uniform.
• Donation Assistance: Assist donors with their donations and help to unload their vehicles, utilizing the bin for item acquisition.
• Information Management: Accurately record donor information on the company iPad while wearing a tablet holder.
• Site Logistics: Assist truck drivers during donation pick-ups and organize donations in the stock room.
• Site Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness of the site, both inside and outside, and fill out supply orders to keep necessary tools stocked.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience: Ability to work independently without continuous supervision, demonstrating a strong desire to provide magnificent service.
• Skills: Able and willing to lift up to 50lbs continuously throughout the day; capacity to work in outside conditions within different seasons; strong ability to positively communicate and interact with donors, co-workers, and management.
