Graphic Design Intern | Helios & Partners

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship role at Helios & Partners, located in Santa Monica, CA. At Helios & Partners, creativity, design, and technology are brought together to shape how brands connect with the world. This role supports the creative team in producing digital, print, and social media content, and explores opportunities for collaboration on UX/UI projects. It is an opportunity for a young designer to build real-world experience, sharpen their craft, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team on projects for global clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Design and adapt various print materials, such as flyers, banners, brochures, packaging, and branded merchandise.
• Visual Creation: Create out-of-home visuals, including billboards, street furniture, digital signage, and other large-format advertisements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate on the development of visual materials for brand activations, pop-ups, and events.
• Content Adaptation: Adapt existing creative concepts into various social media formats, including static, carousel, and animated pieces.
• Production Support: Prepare files for production and delivery, working with senior designers and producers, while ensuring brand consistency across all assets and formats.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, with an interest in branding, events, print, and advertising design.
• Experience: Basic skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Suite are required, alongside familiarity with social media formats and content trends. Experience with mockups, layout grids, or packaging design is also essential.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and visual composition. Possess an eagerness to learn about production specifications, formats, and real-world brand execution.
• Bonus: Interest in motion design or AI tools for content generation (e.g., Midjourney, Sora, Nano Banana, Firefly).
