Graphic Design & Retail Operations Intern | STIVALI NEW YORK
The Tone:
This is an in-person internship at Stivali New York, located in New York City. Stivali New York is an independent women’s luxury footwear label, designed in New York and handcrafted in Colombia, with retail partnerships including Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, and Anthropologie. The brand is known for its dedication to high standards, a customer-centric approach, and a spirit of continuous innovation. This dual-function role is integral to supporting both the visual execution of omnichannel content, including email marketing campaigns, and the smooth operation of daily retail sales and order fulfillment. The intern’s contributions will directly help strengthen the connection between customers and the brand by ensuring exceptional experiences across both creative and operational aspects of the business.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time (24 hours/week), Temporary (4 months duration), starting ASAP.
• Location: In-person, New York, NY (2 weekdays + 1 weekend day preferable).
• Team: Reports directly to the Marketing and Operations Coordinator.
• Mission: To ensure consistent, clear, and brand-aligned omnichannel content execution while supporting smooth daily sales operations, order tracking, and fulfillment to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Tech Stack: Klaviyo for email marketing, Canva for design, Adobe Suite (plus) for media editing, and platforms for sales operations and order fulfillment tracking.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Design & Campaign Execution: Execute media visuals and prepare email marketing campaigns according to approved planners, utilizing existing templates and brand systems for consistency.
• Media & Asset Management: Perform video, photo, and media editing, organize digital assets, and maintain clean folder structures to ensure visual consistency across all omnichannel formats.
• Retail Sales Support: Support in-person sales and assist the showroom floor team as needed, contributing to a seamless customer experience.
• Order Operations & Fulfillment: Track and follow up on customer orders from placement through delivery, coordinating fulfillment days and promptly flagging any order issues.
• Market Analysis: Assist with segment analysis tasks, receiving full guidance and training as no prior experience is required for this component of the role.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a junior undergraduate or graduate degree, with a preferred academic background in design, communications, fashion, or retail.
• Experience: Possesses a strong design foundation, with required proficiency in Canva for visual execution.
• Skills: Demonstrates an organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused approach to responsibilities, alongside the ability to support copywriting and caption writing.
• Bonus: Experience with Adobe Suite is a significant plus, and candidates must provide their own laptop and working equipment for the internship.
