Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN) at Crown Rehab & Healthcare Center, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with assigned duties.
• Administering medications and treatments accurately, and meticulously recording all actions.
• Assisting physicians with various procedures and ongoing treatments for residents.
• Providing essential education and compassionate support to residents and their families.
• Actively participating in collaborative care planning and evaluation processes with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Facilitating smooth admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Diligently monitoring residents’ conditions and promptly reporting any changes or concerns.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of all observations and care provided.
• Ensuring a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
• Opportunities to assist with unit management or serve as a charge nurse, depending on experience and training.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensure: Eligibility for Missouri Practical Nursing licensure.
