Graduate Intern for Men’s Soccer | Regis College
The Tone:
This is a 10-month internship at Regis College, located in Weston, MA. The role is dedicated to bolstering the Men’s Soccer Program and the broader Department of Athletics. This individual plays a crucial part in supporting student-athlete development, ensuring program compliance, and contributing to the overall success and administration of collegiate athletics at Regis College.

• Pay: $4,000 yearly
• Team: Men’s Soccer Program and Department of Athletics, reporting to the Head Coach or Athletics Administration.
• Mission: Support the Men’s Soccer Program and Department of Athletics by assisting with coaching, recruiting, operations, and holistic student-athlete development in compliance with regulations.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Coach & Mentor Student-Athletes: Lead weekly practice and training sessions, provide direct coaching support, and offer counseling to student-athletes as needed.
• Drive Recruitment Efforts: Actively assist the Head Coach in identifying, attracting, and recruiting prospective student-athletes for the Men’s Soccer program.
• Manage Program Operations: Organize and administer the competitive program, including managing team travel, fulfilling video editing/exchange needs, and ensuring compliance with all NCAA, Conference, and University rules.
• Foster Student-Athlete Development: Implement and supervise team-specific academic enrichment programming and organize impactful community service projects aligned with College and NCAA missions.
• Support Athletic Events & Facilities: Serve as a key member of the Events Operations Team, assisting with the setup, staffing, breakdown, and logistics for intercollegiate competitions, coordinating transportation, and participating in the Graduate On-Call rotation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, with admission to one of Regis College’s eligible graduate programs. Early career level.
• Experience: Prior successful playing or coaching experience at the college level preferred, or significant successful high school/club experience will be considered.
• Skills: Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills, computer literacy, and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with various college constituencies. Must possess the ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule, prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail, and hold a valid driver’s license. Appropriate First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications are required before the competitive season.
