What You’ll Actually Do
• Permit Applications: Assist with the preparation and submission of various environmental permit applications, specifically for air, stormwater, and wastewater.
• Environmental Plan Development: Develop and update crucial environmental plans such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans (HWCP).
• Compliance Reporting: Prepare comprehensive compliance reports related to air emissions, hazardous waste, and Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) requirements.
• Site Visits: Conduct field work, including site visits, to gather data, perform inspections, and assess environmental conditions.
• Regulatory Interpretation: Interpret complex environmental regulations to advise clients and help them achieve their compliance goals effectively.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a similar field of study; Early Career level.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience; some knowledge of environmental regulations affecting industry is preferred.
• Skills: Strong written and technical writing skills; ability to perform field work and travel overnight.
• Bonus: OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification.
