Associate Talent & Workforce Transformation Specialist – 2027 | IBM

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transform client workforce strategies: Help organizations rethink how they attract, develop, manage, and empower their workforce using technology-enabled business solutions.
• Collaborate on client projects: Work alongside experienced consultants, HR transformation consultants, workforce strategy professionals, and technology specialists to solve business challenges.
• Gain hands-on experience: Contribute to real client projects from day one, applying learned skills in practical settings.
• Develop core consulting skills: Cultivate essential consulting, communication, and collaboration skills necessary for working with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support diverse industries: Engage with clients across various sectors including healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing, and government.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Practical experience gained through academic projects, internships, case competitions, student organizations, or research. This includes a foundational understanding of business processes, workforce management, human resources, or organizational effectiveness concepts.
• Skills: Understanding of how technology can improve employee experiences and operations; familiarity with data analysis, reporting, process improvement, or business problem-solving concepts; high interest in skills-based workforce planning, talent development, employee experience, or workforce transformation; awareness of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and automation in the context of future work.
• Bonus: Exposure to HR technology, talent management, workforce operations, or enterprise applications; familiarity with Human Capital Management (HCM), workforce analytics, business process optimization, cloud-based HR platforms, or organizational transformation initiatives; interest in Workday, workforce transformation, Artificial Intelligence, consulting, and continuous learning.
