The Tone:
This is a full-time role at EquipmentShare, located in Pueblo, CO. As General Manager, you will lead a rental facility, driving its financial success and fostering an exceptional team, all while being a pivotal part of building the future of construction.

• Team: Leads a branch team, reports to management
• Mission: Maximize the financial success of a branch while building and leading a high-performing team and ensuring operational efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Development: Build and develop an effective team through hiring, conducting performance reviews, providing training, offering guidance, and documenting efforts for improvement.
• Financial Management: Maximize the branch’s financial success by managing operations and conducting monthly profit and loss reviews to understand trends and identify revenue opportunities.
• Performance Oversight: Monitor key metrics including equipment utilization, underperforming assets, warranty recovery, billed mechanical hours, aged receivables, and customer satisfaction.
• Communication & Goal Setting: Effectively communicate information to the team and management, while establishing clear, measurable goals with defined expectations for team members.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures in compliance with legal regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial professional with core domain knowledge in the rental industry.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the rental industry, preferably in a management role. Requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, people management, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates a results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, embracing change, and seeing challenges as opportunities. Brings energy, effort, and optimism every day, along with the ability to adapt to a growing company and stay continuously educated on products and services.
