• Team: Manages department managers and other associates, reports to management.
• Mission: Lead the overall operation of a hotel to achieve superior guest and associate satisfaction, meet financial goals, and uphold brand and company standards.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Hotel Operations: Oversee the entire hotel operation, including hiring, training, budgeting, sales, and revenue management.
• Guest and Associate Satisfaction: Drive exceptional guest service results and foster associate satisfaction by living the “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy and providing personalized service.
• Performance and Compliance: Set and implement annual goals, monitor team performance, and ensure adherence to all brand and Vision Hospitality Group standards, policies, and legal requirements.
• Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring full compliance with Vision corporate accounting procedures.
• Community and Growth: Lead the hotel’s Sales & Marketing efforts, contribute to annual Marketing plans, and promote internal growth programs while actively partnering with the local community.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial career level with core domain knowledge in hotel operations and hospitality management.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of previous hotel experience is required, with AGM or operations management experience preferred.
• Skills: Possess excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; capable of maintaining confidentiality, ensuring safety and security of assets and people, and working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
