• Mission: Ensure financial data accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting for various accounting functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Daily Reporting: Compile and analyze daily sales and production data to provide accurate and timely reports to management.
• Tax Filings: Prepare and file state sales and use tax returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Rebate Management: Accurately track and report rebate transactions, ensuring proper accruals and reporting.
• Commission Management: Calculate and record commission expenses, ensuring accurate accruals and timely reporting.
• Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience; candidates nearing completion of an accounting degree (expected completion within one year) will also be considered.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in creating and manipulating spreadsheets using strong Excel skills.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Access Database for data management and reporting, and knowledge of BI reporting systems for data analysis.
