What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit and Tax Engagement Participation: Actively participate in various phases of audit and/or tax engagements, contributing directly to client projects and gaining comprehensive exposure to the firm’s core services.
• Financial Health Assurance: Conduct essential planning, rigorous testing, thorough research, and accurate reporting tasks to help instill confidence in organizations regarding their financial health.
• Diverse Financial Statement Work: Contribute to tasks involving compilations, detailed reviews, compliance adherence, preparation of financial statements, and analysis of benefit plans for a wide array of clients.
• Comprehensive Tax Engagement: Engage in the preparation and review of diverse tax matters, including corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes, offering broad exposure to tax law.
• Client and Staff Interaction: Foster meaningful interactions with staff members at all organizational levels, from peers to leadership, and engage directly with an impressive repertoire of clients to understand their business needs, gaining exposure to various business opportunities within a leading professional services firm.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a dedicated emphasis in accounting, or currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program focused on accounting or tax.
• Experience: Demonstrated academic success, maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Candidates must be on track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits necessary to sit for the CPA exam, with the clear goal of successfully obtaining their CPA license.
• Skills: Possess a detail-oriented mindset combined with strong leadership potential. Exhibit excellent problem-solving capabilities, effective communication skills, and robust analytical proficiency essential for financial and tax analysis.
