The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Deluxe Cleaners, located in Jacksonville, FL. Deluxe Cleaners is a locally trusted dry cleaning business with over 45 years of service, renowned for professional garment care and meticulous attention to detail. This role is crucial for managing the daily processing of approximately 1,500 clothing items, ensuring every garment meets our high-quality standards before reaching the customer.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Processing: Efficiently process garments through all stages of the dry cleaning and finishing workflow.
• Inspection: Thoroughly inspect clothing for stains or damage, accurately identifying issues and implementing proper treatment procedures.
• Operation: Operate pressing and finishing equipment with precision and care, as needed per garment type.
• Organization: Accurately sort and organize garments according to specific order numbers and customer instructions.
• Preparation: Ensure all items are properly tagged, cleaned, meticulously inspected, and prepared for final assembly and delivery.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Core domain knowledge in dry cleaning, laundry production, garment pressing, or a similar high-volume production environment.
• Experience: Previous experience is preferred, with comprehensive training provided to equip you for success in the role.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control; ability to stand comfortably for extended periods; capable of lifting garment bags weighing 10+ lbs and rolling large garment baskets; reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively and effectively within a small team setting.
• Bonus: Willingness and eagerness to learn new equipment operations and advanced garment care techniques.
