Fund Administration Intern – Winter 2027 – Minneapolis, MN | CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen)

• Mission: This intern will support real estate, private equity, and venture capital funds by completing reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and processing transactions.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft (MS) Windows, Office products
What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile Accounts: Complete bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other account reconciliations for real estate, private equity, and venture capital funds.
• Prepare Financials: Prepare financial statements and the required work papers to support these statements.
• Process Transactions: Process transactions which may include accounts payable/cash disbursements processing, accounts receivable/cash receipts processing, and payroll processing/coordination.
• Manage Investor Communications: Prepare and monitor capital calls and distribution notices to limited partners, including limited partner capital/investor statements.
• Calculate & Allocate Fees: Prepare management fee calculations as well as expense allocations between funds.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Skills: Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products; willingness to learn new technologies; reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Bonus: Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
