• Mission: Responsible for maintaining financial records and calculating net asset values for various funds while ensuring compliance with regulations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Record Keeping: Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, local government investment pools, and closed-end funds.
• Valuation: Produce end-of-day net asset value calculations for funds of varying complexity.
• Daily Processing: Prepare daily general ledger accounting, prime broker/bank cash reconciliations, advisor/portfolio management processing, and expense accrual/payment postings.
• Financial Analysis: Apply corporate actions, determine daily net asset values and mill rates, and conduct portfolio pricing analysis/validations.
• Collaboration & Compliance: Partner with internal/external administrators, transfer agencies, and prime brokers/custodians on compliance, audit, and financials, ensuring all functions adhere to SEC regulations and GAAP principles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities.
• Skills: Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis; ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data; proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications.
