Job Description: Full Stack Software Engineer Intern

The Bypass & Safety team at PrePass is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer Intern to build and enhance customer-facing features focused on safety and performance within their platform. This internship is ideal for a junior or senior college student (or someone with equivalent experience) interested in using modern technologies to solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack software features using React JS and object-oriented languages such as C#, Java, or TypeScript.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product owners to create new customer experiences.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests to ensure software reliability.
• Participate in Agile development ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

• Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with React JS for frontend development.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., TypeScript, C#, Java, C++).
• Familiarity with REST API design and development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with Docker for development or deployment.
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks and practices.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

This is a hybrid role based in the downtown Phoenix office, offering flexibility for remote workdays.
