This Management Trainee position is crucial for developing future leaders within the freight management team, preparing individuals to become Driver Managers, and directly contributing to efficient operations and the company’s growth. • Mission: This person trains across various operational roles with a primary focus on driver management and customer support, equipping them with the skills to become a Driver Manager and ensure smooth, efficient freight operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Driver Communication: Communicate daily with your assigned team of drivers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• On-Time Delivery: Ensure the on-time delivery of all freight shipments by monitoring and tracking their progress.
• Driver Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with drivers, serving as their main point of contact for road-related issues and supporting their professional growth.
• Safety & Compliance: Communicate safety expectations to drivers to ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
• Operational Support: Assist leadership with special projects as needed and escalate critical issues to leadership in a timely manner.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Foundational understanding or relevant experience in sales or management within the transportation industry.
• Experience: Demonstrated track record of achievement and success, with the ability to lead by example.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent prioritization abilities, creative thinking to overcome challenges, and a competitive mindset with a drive to succeed.
• Bonus: Associate’s Degree.
