Financial Planning Analyst | Hunter SF

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Work closely with the Finance and Accounting teams to support organizational objectives.
• Drive: Help drive the budgeting and forecasting processes across the organization.
• Analyze: Analyze business performance to identify key trends and insights.
• Model: Develop comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Support: Support strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions and other growth initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Career professional with experience in finance, accounting, consulting, investment banking, transaction advisory, or a related analytical field.
• Experience: 1-3 years performing financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, valuation, or financial modeling; capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for financial modeling and scenario analysis; expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, coupled with financial statement analysis and business performance reporting; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to synthesize complex data into actionable business insights; strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Accounting, and business teams; a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Experience in high-performance environments with significant exposure to senior stakeholders is highly valued.
