What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Collect, review, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including expenses, revenue, and budgets.
• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
• Forecasting & Modeling: Assist in developing forecasts and basic financial models to project future business performance.
• Market Analysis: Research and monitor economic trends such as inflation and interest rates to understand potential impacts on the business.
• Budgeting Support: Identify and explain basic financial trends to support budgeting and broader financial planning activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field, with an understanding of core finance and accounting concepts, including GAAP fundamentals.
• Experience: 1+ year of professional experience or strong internship experience in a relevant financial role.
• Skills: Basic proficiency in Excel, including formulas, tables, and data analysis; strong attention to detail and organizational abilities; effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Progress toward a Master’s degree; exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Infor); basic familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
