Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival Operations Manager | Grow in Greenville, NC

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at East Carolina University, located in Greenville, NC. ECU, an R1 institution, is recognized among the top 5% of research universities in the United States and is a cultural, educational, economic, and medical hub for eastern North Carolina. The university’s School of Music, part of the College of Fine Arts and Communication, hosts the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival, which showcases internationally renowned musicians through concerts, community engagement, and interactive initiatives. This role is essential for coordinating and implementing all festival operations and day-to-day business at the highest level.

• Mission: Coordinate and carry out all concert, initiative, and special events operations, as well as day-to-day operations of the festival.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Management: Coordinate and carry out all concert, initiative, and special events operations for the festival.
• Daily Management: Coordinate and carry out all day-to-day operations of the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival.
• Strategic Participation: Actively participate in all Four Seasons planning initiatives.
• Business Implementation: Contribute to the high-level implementation of all Four Seasons business activities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work and coordinate effectively with Four Seasons team members, musicians, patrons, donors, community members, vendors, and business partners.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Master’s degree is required, or a Bachelor’s degree combined with two years of experience in an administrative capacity or equivalent experience is acceptable for this Operations Manager role.
• Experience: If holding a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of two years of relevant administrative experience is essential, demonstrating the ability to coordinate and implement events and daily operational tasks within a professional setting.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute concert, initiative, and special event operations; proficiency in managing day-to-day festival activities; strong planning and implementation capabilities for business operations; effective communication and positive interaction with diverse stakeholders including musicians, patrons, donors, and vendors; and possession of a valid Driver’s License.
