Food & Beverage 12 month Intern – Amangiri | Aman

The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-month internship at Aman, located in Amangiri in Canyon Point, USA, with a start date of February 1, 2026, and an end date of January 31, 2027. Aman operates ultra-luxury resorts like Amangiri and its satellite Camp Sarika, which are seamlessly blended into the untouched red-rock country of the Colorado Plateau, offering both serene sanctuary and adventurous experiences across their modernist suites, tented pavilions, and distinct dining venues. This role presents a unique cultural and professional journey into high-end hospitality, specifically designed to provide hands-on experience in luxury food and beverage service. It allows interns to thoroughly learn the fundamentals of exquisite service and operational excellence, gaining valuable insight into Aman’s renowned approach to warm, personalized guest care where every detail matters.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Service Delivery: Support the Food and Beverage team by delivering food and beverage to guests in a timely and professional manner, while developing comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including allergens and guest preferences.
• Operational Readiness & Standards: Learn and execute the set-up and breakdown procedures for service areas according to Aman standards, meticulously maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all front and back-of-house areas, and assisting with polishing and restocking silverware, glassware, and linens.
• Team Collaboration & Flow: Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and service team to ensure seamless guest experiences, observing and supporting service timing and the natural flow of guest interactions.
• Professional Development & Compliance: Actively participate in pre-service briefings and daily team meetings, engage in cross-cultural exchange and learn hospitality best practices, and adhere rigorously to all health, safety and hygiene procedures during training and service.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a Hospitality or Culinary Arts program, making this an entry-level professional development role.
• Experience: Demonstrated strong interest in luxury hospitality and providing exceptional guest service. Must be eligible for the J-1 Internship or Trainee Visa for the United States, including meeting all J-1 visa and program sponsor requirements.
• Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Exhibits a high level of attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Professional appearance, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential for interacting with guests and team members, along with the ability to adapt to new environments and work collaboratively within a team.
