Flex Phlebotomist / Administrative Assistant (Preston) | One Medical
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at One Medical, located in Dallas, TX, with support for multiple market offices. One Medical is a primary care solution aiming to transform healthcare by making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone involved. This role is crucial for delivering an exceptional in-office patient experience, providing essential clinical services like venipuncture, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment as the first point of contact for patients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Interaction: Utilize the C-I-CARE framework in all interactions to ensure a fluid and positive in-office experience through patient intake, scheduling, and follow-up.
• Clinical Services: Provide best-in-class venipuncture services for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics and perform extended scope duties such as EKGs, vitals, vaccines, and non-blood specimen collection.
• Administrative Support: Handle all front of house duties including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, printing tasks, and preparing tests to service level expectations.
• Office Management: Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, tool sterilization, and daily office upkeep.
• Provider Assistance: Support members beyond the lab by answering messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting providers with clerical duties like biometric screening forms and medical record review.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist. High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment.
• Skills: Strong customer service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in computer technology (typing, internet navigation, multiple software systems), ability to display confidence and instill trust during collection, and a proven track record of persisting through change and learning quickly.
• Bonus: Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
