Fleet & Asset Manager | Team Housing Solutions, Inc.

This Fleet & Asset Manager role is critical for ensuring the lifecycle, maintenance, and operational readiness of all rolling and moveable assets, including vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, and towable support assets. The role directly supports both routine operations and rapid deployment needs for project-based and emergency response work, embodying our mission to provide superior temporary lodging experiences through streamlined systems and impeccable service.
The TL;DR

• Mission: Own the lifecycle, maintenance, and operational readiness of all company rolling and moveable assets, ensuring the highest safety and compliance standards for routine operations and rapid deployment needs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Manage and schedule the mobilization and demobilization of fleet assets for project-based work and emergency response.
• Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all rolling and moveable assets, overseeing inspections and repairs.
• Compliance: Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet DOT, OSHA, and manufacturer safety standards, including compliance reporting for CDL vehicles.
• Administration: Develop fleet budgets covering fuel, maintenance, repairs, and insurance, tracking operating costs per asset to evaluate efficiency.
• Asset Strategy: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of non-rolling assets while supporting the operational readiness of the HQ campus.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level, demonstrating proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations. This includes a strong foundational knowledge of heavy equipment, trailers, vehicles, and various towable support assets.
• Experience: Requires a strong understanding of preventative maintenance planning and comprehensive asset lifecycle management. Candidates must be familiar with DOT regulations and OSHA safety requirements. Proven proficiency in utilizing fleet management software, asset tracking systems, or ERP systems for data logging and reporting is essential.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills are critical for managing complex logistics and operations. The ability to effectively lead drivers/operators and coordinate seamlessly across multiple departments is a must. This role also requires consistently modeling safe behaviors and actively influencing safe decision-making across the team.
• Bonus: A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred for this position.
