What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Needs Assessment: Comprehensively identify and understand individual client financial goals, risk tolerance, and current financial situation.
• Strategy Development: Develop and present tailored investment strategies and holistic financial plans designed to meet identified client needs.
• Solution Recommendation: Recommend and implement a broad range of financial products and services from Merrill’s and Bank of America’s vast ecosystem.
• Portfolio Analysis & Advice: Conduct in-depth analysis of client portfolios, providing expert financial advice and strategic recommendations for optimization and growth.
• Sales & Relationship Management: Engage in effective sales consultations, building, nurturing, and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships through consistent communication.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related field is preferred, demonstrating strong analytical capabilities and deep finance knowledge.
• Experience: Proven experience in sales with a strong ability to initiate, build, and maintain enduring client relationships, coupled with a track record of providing effective training and guidance.
• Skills: Superior verbal and written communication for client interactions; proficiency in financial planning tools, robust understanding of financial markets, and solid grasp of regulatory compliance; and demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
• Bonus: Possession of relevant professional certifications such as Series 7 and Series 66 is highly valued; candidates willing and able to obtain these certifications within a specified timeframe are also encouraged to apply.
