Intern – Financial Solutions | Epiroc

This Financial Solutions Intern role is crucial for directly supporting the secure and compliant structuring of financial transactions, ensuring essential business operations run smoothly and effectively.

• Mission: Support the structuring process of financial transactions for internal and external clients, including asset security, documentation, collections, and invoicing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Relations: Manage all aspects of customer service and administration, including diligent registration processes, effective problem resolution, and accurate payment processing for financial solutions.
• Compliance & Contracts: Ensure stringent compliance with both internal company policies and external legal requirements, while maintaining the integrity and control of lease contracts to meet all specified terms and business obligations.
• Transaction Structuring: Actively support the comprehensive structuring process of financial transactions with both internal and external clients, serving as a primary point of contact for customers located across the United States and Canada.
• Documentation & Data Management: Accurately enter essential contract data and specific customer requirements into the leasing software for proper account maintenance, and meticulously draft contractual documents to ensure final versions are accurate and consistent with approvals.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to operational excellence by assisting in the development of detailed step-by-step procedures for all critical functions to standardize processes, minimize errors, and proactively bring creative solutions to improve the overall financing process.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled and actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or a closely related field.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required. Proficiency in Excel is essential for this role. Preferred qualifications include prior experience with LeasePlus/Aspire leasing software, PowerBI, and familiarity with AI tools for creating agents to support process improvements.
• Skills: Demonstrated skills in supporting the structuring of financial transactions; proven ability in lease contract management and ensuring compliance with requirements; strong capability in financial customer service and administration, including problem resolution; and an understanding of claims and indemnification processes.
• Bonus: Graduate or Senior Undergraduate student status; GPA of 3.0 or higher.
