As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate and compliant financial statements, contributing directly to the company’s operational integrity and regulatory adherence.

• Team: Finance team, collaborating with SVP of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer
• Mission: Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting through statement preparation, regulatory filings, and audit support.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Prepare monthly standalone and consolidated financial statements, along with internal and external reporting packages.
• Research: Resolve day-to-day financial reporting issues and assist with new technical transactions to ensure proper application of US GAAP and industry reporting requirements.
• Create: Assist in the development of financial reporting-related policies, procedures, reporting templates, and KPI reports.
• Analyze: Manage various monthly close activities, tracking and analyzing fluctuations in expenses and revenues to provide insightful financial analysis.
• Coordinate: Prepare year-end financial GAAP financial statements for annual audits and assist in validating data points from accounting and point of sale systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Preferred experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis.
• Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel, strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Bonus: CPA designation, Public Accounting experience, or experience within the Mortgage or Financial Services industry.
