What You’ll Actually Do
• Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead, to provide insights into efficiency and spending.
• Variance Reporting: Track and report manufacturing variances such as price, usage, volume, and efficiency to highlight performance deviations.
• Standard Cost Management: Support standard cost maintenance and cost roll-ups to ensure accurate product costing.
• Inventory Valuation: Assist in monitoring work-in-process (WIP) and inventory valuation to maintain financial accuracy and control.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare recurring financial reports and dashboards for production leadership to aid data-driven decision-making.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 0-2 years of manufacturing accounting experience.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, good understanding of financial (ERP) systems, and experience with inventory costing, job costing, or WIP accounting.
