What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Operations Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of financial operations for a designated portfolio of regional properties to identify key insights and trends.
• Annual Budget Development: Develop and actively manage the comprehensive annual budget for the operations team, serving as a primary liaison between the operations team and property managers.
• Financial Recommendation Preparation: Prepare detailed financial analyses and construct clear, written explanations to support budget recommendations for various stakeholders.
• Quarterly Re-forecasting: Construct accurate quarterly re-forecasts based on robust trend analysis, incorporating specific field requests received from the operations team, and recommending necessary forecast adjustments.
• Performance Variance Reporting: Run in-depth variance analyses to identify significant key trends, conduct ad hoc reporting to model diverse financial scenarios, and effectively interpret findings to inform business decisions.
• Process Improvement Initiatives: Perform project-based initiatives specifically designed to improve process efficiencies across various departments and provide essential support to other teams as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. This role is suitable for professionals at an early career stage.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, with a preference for candidates who have worked within property management and/or the broader real estate sector.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to quickly learn additional systems.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial outputs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, enabling effective interpretation of data and collaborative work.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, work efficiently under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Willingness and ability to travel as required by the role.
