What You’ll Actually Do
• Process general ledger journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare account reconciliations and ensure compliance with company policy.
• Maintain databases and collaborate with team members to verify proper financial controls are in place.
• Work with lead FP&A team members to complete month-end closes and forecasts for the IT segment.
• Participate in special projects and respond to ad hoc requests as needed to support financial initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1+ year of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• Skills: Good time management, capability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, strong communication skills, well-organized and detail-oriented, ability to work independently to compile information.
• Bonus: Experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in healthcare or financial services; experience in financial closing processes; experience working with other finance areas; experience with Oracle and/or SAP; ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and interpret results; strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information; ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
