What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Prepare, record, analyze, and report on the energy costs associated with Spectrum’s products and services.
• Optimize: Identify and implement cost savings opportunities through strategic financial analysis.
• Oversee: Assist in tracking and reviewing renewable energy projects, including their cost, RECs, and performance.
• Ensure Compliance: Review invoicing and reporting for renewable energy project contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Collaborate: Work with third parties such as utility tariff departments and service partners to achieve company goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Energy, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of general knowledge in how to analyze cost, with a standout preference for 2+ years analyzing electricity cost.
• Skills: Strong analytical and interpretive skills, effective oral and written communication, ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure, prioritization and organizational skills, and demonstrated computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
• Bonus: 1+ years working with an electric utility, energy supplier, project developer, or energy-intensive company; industry-related Accounting or Energy work experience; experience analyzing and interpreting energy generation data, PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
