This is a hybrid Financial Analyst role at Glanbia, located in Sharonville, Ohio. The Financial Analyst acts as a crucial business partner to the operations team, supporting flavor sites across multiple locations. This position is vital for monitoring and reviewing all inventory and production activities related to product costing within the manufacturing facilities, ensuring financial impact is accurately assessed and managed.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Costing: Support all aspects of product costing, including new raw material commercialization and quarterly updates of standard costs for existing materials.
• Inventory Management: Perform and manage the obsolete inventory process across sites, including reporting and meeting coordination, and identify/resolve inventory-related issues through data analysis.
• Financial Operations Close: Perform the monthly financial operations close and reporting cycle, including manufacturing labor and overhead variances, production reports, and support overhead analysis by material.
• Financial Planning: Support operational financial and accounting aspects, including annual budget and quarterly forecast planning for flavor plants, coordinating headcount and non-labor overhead costs.
• Performance Analysis: Prepare, coordinate, and report monthly Operations Key Performance Indicators, measuring performance against targets and providing variance commentary.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to quickly change and handle competing priorities, extreme accuracy and detail orientation in tasks, strong organizational skills with demonstrated accuracy.
