Finance Analyst- Kiewit Nuclear Solutions | Kiewit
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Kiewit, located in Aiken, SC & Lenexa, KS. This role is integral to the business management of projects ranging from $1 million to $4 billion, requiring a significant impact on daily company culture. The Financial Analyst supports critical accounting and finance functions, ensuring smooth project operations and accurate financial reporting.

• Mission: Supports project business management by handling critical accounting and finance-related functions like cost control, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Collaborate with the Operations team, adapting to project needs and providing support across various areas to ensure project success.
• HR & Payroll Management: Master the systems and processes for payroll and human resources, including hiring, transferring, terminating, and paying all employees accurately.
• Procurement & Accounts Payable: Oversee the purchasing workflow, from goods acquisition to invoice receipt and payment, while maintaining robust internal controls and troubleshooting vendor issues.
• Billing & Cash Management: Manage intercompany and client billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation to positively impact cash flow and financial health.
• Financial Reporting & Control: Review and adjust cost and revenue components, budget structures, and exception reports, ensuring accuracy for management reporting and assisting with month-end close and financial package preparation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree.
• Experience: 3-5+ years of financial and/or data analysis experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; effective oral and written communication; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; keen attention to detail; ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Requirements: Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, now and in the future; sole US citizenship required for site badge access; willingness to travel and/or relocate up to 50%.
• Bonus: Preferred experience utilizing Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other advanced Excel functions.
