Financial Analyst | NEXXTA

The Tone:
This is a role at NEXXTA, a U.S.-based manufacturing partner operating four Great Lakes facilities. NEXXTA delivers precision, speed, and scale as it serves industry leaders across transportation, energy, medical, and defense sectors. This Financial Analyst role is essential for providing critical financial and analytical support directly to the plant operations team. The position contributes to strengthening supply chains and confident American manufacturing by assisting with budget and forecasting processes, financial reporting, monthly financial performance analysis, and the evaluation and control of capital expenditure projects. This role plays a key part in enabling efficient operations and informed strategic decision-making across NEXXTA’s facilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Analyze business and financial data, evaluating key measures to assess performance.
• Modeling: Create and refine financial models that inform organizational decision-making and strategic planning.
• Reporting: Develop comprehensive financial plans, reports, budgets, forecasts, and statements for organizational leaders.
• Strategy: Identify and analyze industry trends, formulating recommendations to enhance business strategy.
• Data Integrity: Monitor and ensure the integrity of inventory and ERP subledger records, resolving any data-related issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Proficiency with IQMS or similar ERP systems.
• Skills: Financial modeling, analytic and forecasting tool development, cross-functional collaboration, strong interpersonal communication.
• Bonus: Two (2) years of experience in reporting, analysis, and financial modeling within a large, complex organization.
