The Tone:
This is a two-year rotational Financial Analyst I role at Blackhawk Network, located in Coppell, TX or Pleasanton, CA with hybrid flexibility (two days in office). Blackhawk Network (BHN) helps businesses grow revenue, increase loyalty, and engage consumers by providing branded payment solutions such as gift cards, egifts, corporate payouts, and rewards through a single global platform. This role offers recent graduates a foundational experience across corporate FP&A, finance systems, and business finance, directly supporting strategic planning and vital business decisions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze performance: Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence to support strategic planning and business decisions.
• Model performance: Build and maintain financial models to project company performance and inform leadership decisions.
• Manage cycles: Support the annual budget and ongoing forecast cycles to keep the business on track to its financial targets.
• Automate processes: Identify opportunities to incorporate AI and automation into repeatable finance processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scale.
• Present findings: Partner with business and Accounting teams to gather data, prepare reports, and present findings to management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience in financial analysis or related coursework.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel, strong analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude, and strong attention to detail.
