The Tone:
This is a full-time role at ABM Industries, located in Atlanta, GA. ABM Industries is one of the world’s largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions, with over 100,000 team members and more than $8 billion in annual revenue. This key position provides essential analytical support to the Atlanta area/function, working closely with the Enterprise Service Center’s Accounting Team for financial close processes and the Operations department to assist in budgeting and forecasting. This individual will interact with team members at all levels, requiring strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Team: Works closely with the Accounting Team in the Enterprise Service Center and the Operations department.
• Mission: To provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, business planning, and financial close processes to enhance operational performance and reporting accuracy.
• Tech Stack: Excel, MS Office, Hyperion SmartView, Anaplan (preferred)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Update the 12-month forecast quarterly and conduct reports and analysis related to the annual budget and quarterly financial metrics.
• Performance Analysis: Review the Profit & Loss statement for variances and advise operations on opportunities for improvement.
• Financial Close Contribution: Contribute to the month-end close process and submit journal entries.
• Metric Management: Maintain and report monthly and quarterly operating financial metrics.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with proven ability to present financial data concisely, utilizing visualizations when necessary.
• Skills: Advanced working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products, working knowledge of Hyperion SmartView, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize projects and deliver key objectives, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience in Anaplan is preferred, and familiarity with Balance Sheet and Income Statements is beneficial.
