Finance Accountant | Almac

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Almac, located in Souderton, PA, offering a hybrid work opportunity after approximately six months of employment, allowing for two days per week remote work. This Financial Accountant role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, analysis, and supporting the financial health of the company by managing core accounting functions within a global operational context.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute comprehensive monthly financial reports, meticulously identifying both production variances and spending variances to provide clear insights into operational performance.
• Intercompany Reconciliation: Prepare and thoroughly review Intercompany transactions across global entities, actively identifying and resolving out-of-balance variances or discrepancies to ensure accurate consolidated financials.
• Accounting Entry Management: Responsible for preparing accurate manual journal entries, developing robust supporting schedules, and performing detailed reviews of cost management transactions, project accounting (cost) activity, and other financial accounting entries, analyzing monthly results for accuracy and timeliness.
• Balance Sheet Integrity: Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy of stock inventory accounts, customer-specific inventory, services accruals, and trade creditor accrual balances. Analyze variances, validate underlying transactions, and confirm all reconciled items are properly supported and aligned with financial reporting requirements.
• Budgetary Support: Support all annual budget activities by preparing essential financial data, performing analytical reviews, coordinating departmental input from various departments, and contributing to the timely completion of annual budget deliverables.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, enabling entry-level to early career contributions.
• Experience: 1-3 years of Accounting or Cost Accounting experience.
• Skills: Financial report preparation, intercompany transaction analysis, journal entry development, balance sheet reconciliation, and budget process support.
• Bonus: 1+ years of experience with Oracle Financials.
