Finance & Operations Analyst | Zyxel APAC for Service Providers

The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Zyxel Communications, working in a hybrid capacity. Zyxel Communications is a leading supplier of secure broadband networking and Internet connectivity products designed for Broadband Service Providers. This role is crucial for supporting financial planning, month-end reporting, business analysis, and operational execution across the organization, helping the company improve reporting, evaluate business performance, and support growth opportunities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, forecasts, and analyses related to revenue, expenses, margins, and overall business performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to evaluate actual results against plans and identify key financial drivers.
• Assist with monthly-end reporting and month-end close activities, including account review, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Conduct customer, business, and market analysis to assess commercial opportunities, customer needs, and growth potential.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support the execution of operational, customer-related, and strategic initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field; considered an early career professional.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics, with experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking.
• Skills: Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with financial models and reporting tools; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience supporting business development, commercial analysis, or customer-related initiatives; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
