Finance Manager, Corp FP&A | Twitch

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Twitch, located in San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA; or New York, NY. Twitch is the world’s biggest live streaming service, building global communities around gaming, entertainment, music, and more. This role is crucial for guiding financial decisions and delivering actionable insights that shape the company’s growth. Your analysis and insights will directly inform decisions made by the CFO and executive leadership team.

• Team: Corp FP&A, reporting to the Director of Corp FP&A
• Mission: Drive visibility into Twitch’s technology infrastructure through AWS, financial performance, and support strategic initiatives with data-driven recommendations.
• Tech Stack: AWS, Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion, SAP, Excel, AI tools, SQL

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Develop and maintain financial reporting frameworks for Twitch’s Tech Infrastructure (AWS) operating expenses, tracking actual spend against plan and delivering narratives to senior leadership.
• Analysis: Lead analysis of infrastructure operating expense cost structures, including AI platforms, to support business decision-making.
• Process Optimization: Partner with teams across Twitch and AWS to streamline and automate processes, removing roadblocks and increasing reporting reliability and efficiency.
• Planning & Budgeting: Support the annual tech infrastructure capacity planning and budgeting process, including data gathering, analysis, and coordination across departments.
• Executive Support: Support ad-hoc requests from finance and business executives as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in finance, consulting, or a related analytical field, including the use of enterprise planning systems for variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Skills: Excel modeling with complex functions, data analysis, ability to implement process improvements and build scalable solutions, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with AWS metrics, tools, and data, including financial modeling and forecasting, experience leading continuous improvement projects, experience leveraging AI Tools for process automation, and intermediate SQL experience.
