The Tone:
This is an onsite Finance Manager role at Tyson Foods. The position is a leading role within the Finance organization, specifically part of the Prepared Foods Supply Chain Finance group. This role is integral to driving operational excellence by assisting Operations and Business Unit leadership in optimizing working capital and achieving organizational goals. A successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of key operational and working capital metrics, provide value-added analyses, and assist leadership in identifying and executing initiatives with an ownership mindset in a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements across inventory management and capital deployment activities.
• Reporting Development: Create value-added reporting tools to provide leadership with clear and concise visibility into working capital and progress towards stated goals.
• Strategic Insights: Provide and present insights to leadership to aid better decision making and optimizing working capital performance.
• Capital Project Management: Manage the analysis of capital project financial measures, including revenue and cost improvement drivers and post-audit activities.
• Team Leadership: Manage one financial analyst, overseeing their contributions to the finance organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, preparing candidates for a managerial career level focused on financial operations within a supply chain context.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in finance, including demonstrated experience managing financial processes, creating comprehensive reporting, and working effectively with cross-functional teams. This role requires proven ability to drive process improvement and optimize financial performance, especially in relation to working capital and inventory management.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP BI is essential. Candidates must possess strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights for various stakeholders.
• Bonus: A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is preferred, indicating a higher level of strategic financial understanding.
