This is a full-time role at Amazon, located in Nashville, TN, and Bellevue, WA. Amazon is a global technology and logistics organization that designs and launches new businesses, focusing on rapid fulfillment capabilities. This role is crucial for fusing customer experience, operational knowledge, and financial understanding to create a holistic picture, directly influencing the strategic direction and long-term profitability of high-growth logistics businesses like Sub Same Day (SSD). The successful candidate will drive operations excellence and make sound investment and expansion decisions, ultimately improving the customer experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Build: Complex financial models and perform sophisticated analyses to drive investment decisions for new business initiatives within the SSD network.
• Lead: Capital planning and optimization efforts for the growing SSD network, including building launch strategies, capex forecasting, allocation, and ROI analysis.
• Partner: With business teams to define financial and non-financial trade-offs, making thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous environments.
• Identify: And solve complex data integrity issues while maintaining high standards.
• Develop: And implement scalable financial solutions to improve tools, technology, and processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), performing at a manager career level.
• Experience: 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience, with a proven impact on business outcomes.
• Skills: Knowledge of SQL/ETL, experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools, experience with financial systems, and ability to deliver forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
• Bonus: MBA or CPA, 6+ years of experience identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, and 6+ years of experience solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations.
