The TL;DR

• Pay: $25 hourly
• Team: Reports directly to the site’s Finance Manager, receiving daily coaching from the team.
• Mission: To support the finance team by meticulously managing fixed asset inventory, contributing to financial data accuracy, and participating in a structured professional development program.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Fixed Asset Identification: Systematically locate and identify all fixed assets present within the Torrance plant facility.
• Asset Documentation & Photography: Capture photographic evidence of each identified fixed asset for record-keeping and database integration.
• Data Upload & Management: Accurately upload photographs and corresponding asset information into specified corporate forms.
• Database Integration Support: Facilitate the seamless integration of collected asset data into the overarching corporate fixed asset database.
• Project Presentation: Prepare and deliver a comprehensive presentation on project findings and outcomes to plant management, supervisors, and mentors.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently enrolled in or have completed a minimum of Sophomore level coursework in a bachelor’s degree or graduate degree program from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Proficiency working in a Microsoft systems environment is required.
• Skills: Required proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical capabilities.
• Bonus: Prior internship work experience and basic programming skills are recommended.
