Finance Intern | PTI Technologies

The Tone:
This is a Full-Time internship at PTI Technologies, located in Oxnard, CA. PTI Technologies is a world leader in highly-reliable filtration and fluid control equipment and subsystems, along with miniature CAD/PAD devices, providing value-added solutions for mission, flight, and life-critical operations across the Aerospace and Defense markets. • Mission: Support the finance team by ensuring accurate financial records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and contributing to strategic financial assessments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Assist in detailed data entry processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports crucial for decision-making.
• Financial Planning: Collaborate with team members on various budgeting and forecasting projects, contributing financial assessments that directly drive strategic decisions for the company.
• Professional Development: Participate actively in internal and external meetings, gaining invaluable insights into complex financial practices and policies, and learning to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, real-world context.
• Compliance Support: Assist diligently in reconciling accounts and preparing comprehensive documentation required for audits, ensuring full compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completed an Associate’s Degree at an accredited institution or the first two years at a 4-year university, with a major in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: An overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is essential.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in financial software and tools, excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborative efforts.
• Bonus: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, necessitating U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
