The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at GenScript, located onsite in Piscataway, NJ. This internship offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by supporting the finance team with daily administrative tasks and basic financial operations within a corporate environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Organize and manage financial documents through filing, scanning, and digital upkeep.
• Update and maintain accurate financial data within company systems.
• Facilitate monthly reconciliation processes by gathering necessary documentation.
• Assist in processing and documenting tax exemption and insurance certificates.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the finance department, including scheduling and handling mail.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. This is an entry-level position for candidates with basic knowledge of accounting and cash management principles.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in cashier, treasury, or finance operations, including relevant internships.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, highly organized, strong attention to detail and accuracy, good communication skills, ability to work well within a team, trustworthy, and strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
• Bonus: Experience with ERP or online banking systems.
