About the Finance (FP&A) Internship:

This 12-week, full-time internship offers hands-on experience in financial planning at a high-growth SaaS company. The role involves close collaboration with the Finance team on strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in building and updating financial models for forecasting and budgeting: This includes working with existing models and contributing to their development.
Analyze key financial data to identify trends, variances, and business insights: This requires strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial information.
Contribute to monthly performance tracking and internal reporting: This involves preparing reports and presentations summarizing financial performance.
Support ad hoc analyses and special projects for senior leadership: This demonstrates flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and support strategic planning: This highlights the collaborative nature of the role and the importance of teamwork.

Qualifications:

Preferred: MBA or graduate student pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Also considered: Undergraduate students with a strong academic background and relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling): This is a crucial skill for the role.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills: These are essential for success in a finance role.
Eager to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment: This emphasizes the desired work ethic and personality traits.

Compensation and Details:

hourly rate: $24–$32/hour, depending on experience and education level.
Duration: 12 weeks, full-time.
Work schedule: Hybrid, with in-office time in the New York City location.
