As a Finance Associate, you will join the Finance team in a position that directly shapes how the company evaluates and pursues growth opportunities. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling & Stress Testing: Build and diligently maintain complex financial models to thoroughly evaluate acquisition opportunities, encompassing detailed cash flow analysis, comprehensive valuation methodologies, precise returns modeling, and robust scenario analysis. You will also lead critical sensitivity and stress-testing processes to rigorously pressure test assumptions before investment decisions are presented to the investment committee.
• Deal Communication: Prepare impactful investment presentations and comprehensive materials, ensuring that complex financial analysis is translated into clear, concise, and decision-ready outputs for all relevant internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Due Diligence Support: Provide essential support for due diligence processes related to potential acquisitions, which includes meticulous data room review, in-depth financial statement analysis, and the synthesis of findings into actionable recommendations.
• Post-Close Integration: Partner collaboratively with the FP&A and Corporate Finance teams on the post-close execution and integration of acquired assets, overseeing performance tracking and contributing to financial reporting for these new additions.
• Firm-Wide Support: Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses for internal stakeholders and the financial sponsor, supporting sourcing efforts and contributing to various firm-wide projects as the business continues to scale and evolve.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An early-career professional seeking direct involvement in core deal activity, possessing a foundational understanding of finance principles, particularly as they relate to company acquisitions and investment evaluation.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in building, maintaining, underwriting, sensitizing, and pressure testing financial models for evaluating acquisition and investment opportunities. This role requires real ownership of the financial models that underpin critical business decisions.
• Skills: Expertise in advanced financial modeling techniques, including cash flow analysis, valuation, returns modeling, and scenario analysis; strong analytical capabilities for sensitivity and stress-testing assumptions; proven ability to prepare clear and compelling investment presentations; proficiency in comprehensive financial statement analysis to support due diligence.
