The Tone:

The Finance Associate will be a key contributor across various financial functions, playing a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily operations. What You’ll Actually Do
• Vendor Management: Assist with the onboarding of new vendors, manage vendor inquiries, and help maintain accurate vendor and contract records.
• Operational Accounting Support: Support daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice reconciliation and payment tracking.
• General Ledger Assistance: Assist in preparing and posting journal entries, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Data Analysis: Help gather and analyze financial data to support internal reporting and provide insights to leadership.
• Process Improvement: Identify and propose solutions to streamline financial processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, demonstrating a strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis. This role is suitable for a recent graduate.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP) or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
