What You’ll Actually Do
• Deploy hardware: Install and configure workstations, servers, and networking equipment onsite for clients.
• Maintain systems: Perform hardware setup, upgrades, and repairs in both bench and field environments.
• Troubleshoot issues: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems for business clients.
• Support users: Provide basic end-user assistance and help resolve workstation and device issues.
• Document solutions: Create and update technical documentation within the knowledge base and client network systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, High School Diploma required. Possesses a strong customer service mindset with professional communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical users.
• Experience: Experience building, configuring, and repairing computers. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Apple macOS, iOS, and Android devices, as well as peripherals like printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls), basic remote access technologies (VPN, Remote Desktop), and strong written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: CompTIA A+ certification preferred (required within 180 days of hire), CompTIA Network+ certification preferred (required within 1 year of hire). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.
