Fellowship Analyst (Finance) | Cydecor, Inc.
The Tone:
This is an early career Fellowship Analyst position at Cydecor, Inc., located in Crystal City, VA. Cydecor is a premier Federal Government solutions provider, delivering differentiated innovations in mission systems and business platforms, with a focus on mission readiness technology. They achieve this through secure systems, software development, and business intelligence to address national security challenges. This early career role is a unique one-year fellowship program, administered by the CEO, designed to immerse a recent graduate in various aspects of the company’s financial operations and business functions. The Fellowship Analyst will provide critical support to the Finance team, contributing directly to the accurate financial management of multi-million-dollar government contracts and gaining exposure to strategic initiatives like mergers and acquisitions.

• Mission: Provide essential administrative and functional support to the Finance team, specifically in Project Controls, to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance for government contracts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and functional support to the dedicated Finance team.
• Project Controls: Contribute to Project Controls by leveraging and enhancing existing Excel models to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance for multi-million-dollar government contracts.
• Financial Operations & M&A: Learn about forecasting and financial operations, gaining direct exposure to the evaluation and closing processes involved in potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
• Information Management: Handle sensitive and confidential financial and business information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
• Opportunity Management: Assist with the strategic development and ongoing management of opportunity artifacts, essential templates, and critical schedules.
• Stakeholder Communication: Proactively communicate with relevant stakeholders to identify and develop potential solutions for various business challenges.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Level career professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; specifically, a recent college graduate from the Class of 2026 (Spring).
• Experience: No specific years required, but candidates must demonstrate proven analytical skills, strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and exceptional time and project management skills. Experience with MS Office Suite is required.
