FCA Intern | FCA

The Tone:
This is a collegiate volunteer internship experience with FCA, a ministry organization dedicated to developing student athletes. The program is designed to guide interns in discerning their calling and career by introducing them to various facets of ministry. This vital role contributes to the FCA mission by fostering spiritual growth and practical ministry understanding within a supportive environment, equipping interns for future service and leadership.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Community Adherence: Uphold and actively abide by the principles outlined in FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
• Spiritual Discipline: Cultivate and follow a consistent spiritual rhythm, including daily prayer and Bible study, to seek the Lord’s will specifically for FCA’s ministry.
• Leadership Provision: Deliver spiritual leadership to staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by personal example, thereby equipping others to serve effectively.
• Church Engagement: Actively connect to and participate in a local church community through regular worship attendance and weekly involvement.
• Conduct Standards: Maintain a personal conduct that consistently affirms biblical standards in accordance with FCA’s Christian beliefs and the Christian Community Statement at all times.

• Background: Collegiate volunteer status, with a demonstrable interest in discerning a calling and career within ministry, specifically through an FCA experience.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required beyond meeting the collegiate volunteer criteria.
• Skills: Capability to provide spiritual leadership; commitment to daily prayer and Bible study; active participation in a local church; and consistent conduct affirming biblical standards aligned with FCA’s Christian beliefs.
